The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield (JLEP) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
 
What We Do
The JLEP:
  • Connects women committed to volunteering through service and social events
  • Trains women and further develops their skills to be effective leaders
  • Improves communities in Union County 

Membership Benefits
Becoming a member of the JLEP provides:
  • Training for effective community leadership, including advocay, community research, fundrasing, finance, leadership, public relations, and personal development
  • Working with other women to create positive community change
  • Insight into community needs and strategies for solutions
  • Access to community leaders, new friends, and creative ideas
  • Exposure to creative strategies in problem solving and administration of a non-profit organization
  • Ability to transfer membership to other Junior Leagues
  • Membership to the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), one of the oldest, largest, and most effective women's volunteer organizations in the world, encompassing 150,000 women in 291 Leagues in four countries
