The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST MEMBERS!

New members of the JLEP were recently recognized at the League's Annual Dinner held at the end of May at the Plainfield Country Club. Pictured above are (back row L-R) Jessica Wernes, Geetha Subramanian, Jessica Stewart, Kim Gibson, Lisa Ranaldo, Christine Ruhnke, Teresa Culkin, Sue Gallagher, (front row L-R) Jessica Springer, Karen Webb, Erin Jacobs. Not Picured are Nicole Jacobs, Lisa Kane, Caroline Katz,  Susie Kinch, Christine Martinez, Suzanne Mehlers, Sally Narkis, Jennifer Delarosa-Po, Christina Regan and Ann Reilly. One of the highlights of their year was hosting an event to promote healthy lifestyles at the end of April with the children of the Kings Daughter Day School's after care program and their parents. This event was developed as part of the Association of Junor Leagues' International's Kids in the Kitchen global initiative to educate children and parents about healthy lifestyles and combating childhood obesity.

This past Spring The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield held it's final LIterary Luncheon. We welcomed a distinguished panel of authors who spoke about their craft, their stories, and their lives over an elegant sit-down luncheon.  Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres, champagne & strawberries, book signings, a silent auction and gift basket raffles.  Thanks to your friends, mother, sister, and book club members we had a fantastic event!

The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield is always seeking energetic, dynamic women who want to make a difference in their communities.  If you are a woman resident of Union County and looking to assist women and children in crises throughout our area, consider becoming a member of our League. No referrals are required. The Junior League welcomes all women over the age of 21 regardless of race, religion or national origin.
