OUR LEAGUE-WIDE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT TO BENEFIT HOMEFIRST, INC.
JLEP families came together in May for our "Spring Into Action"
community service project to benefit Homefirst, Inc. Homefirst is a
non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of
life for the homeless in Union County. Our Spring Into Action project
included two components. First, we donated 50 bags of fresh produce to
families in the Homefirst transitional housing program. Second, we
spruced up the outdoor play space behind their office headquarters, an
area used by families who visit for counseling and other services. We
painted, raked, mulched and more. Thanks to all who lent their helping hands! To learn more about Homefirst Inc., go to www.homefirstinc.org
